Where can I obtain a stock for my L.C. Smith?

Please be aware that a number of doublegun stock specialists are doing amazing repair work and an evaluation might be worthwhile. Repair is likely to be MUCH cheaper than replacing the stock, and your L.C. Smith will still have the factory stock. If a replacment stock is your only choice, you will need to match the gauge, frame size (Regular or Featherweight), and production era (Syracuse, Pre-1913, Post-1913, Post-1945.) Another option is to purchase a new partially shaped and inlet stock. It is very likely that a stock specialist will need to do the final fitting and checkering, but you may then finish the stock as you wish.

The last and several thousand dollar option would be to have a new stock made from the wood blank that you select. You might consider a session with a stock fitter to establish the perfect stock dimensions based on your body habitus, shooting style, and primary shooting discipline- wingshooting, skeet, sporting clays, or trap.
