How do I cock the hammers when my L.C. Smith shotgun is disassembled?

These instructions show using a cocking tool or a small wrench. The small wrench is shown in lower pictures.

L.C. Smith Cocking Tool in place. Both cocking rods rotated DOWN means the hammers are cocked

Cocking tool in place on left cocking rod. The arm of the cocking rod must be ROTATED DOWN.

Left hammer is now cocked.

Now using a small wrench. It is in position to cock right hammer by rotating (pushing) cocking rod down.

Right Hammer is now cocked. A second option is to use a 4 inch adjustable wrench (consider wrapping the jaws with electrical tape)
